YAMAMOTO-MS is a specialized manufacturer of plating testers, analyzers, and small device. By making full use of the know-how cultivated since 1950 and more than 1000 products, we will design the "uniqueness" that suits you. In addition to plating, we support a wide variety of research in the fields of medical engineering and aerospace by utilizing our technology for handling liquids. At this exhibition, we plan to showcase a wide range of our core products, including Wafer plating, Hull-cell and Barrel plating equipment's.
We have a wide range of plating equipment for wafers of various sizes and shapes, from 2 to 12 inches in diameter. By using a dedicated jig and tank, we can achieve precise and consistent plating for wafer. This compact, desktop-sized system can be used for a wide range of applications, from research and development to small quantity production. Our product lineup includes not only "For Single-side Plating", but also " For Double-side Plating" and "Strong Agitation type".
"Hull Cell Test" is the method of observing the state of plating film in a wide range of current densities at one time by using a trapezoidal-shaped cell. This is because cathode and anode plates are not faced parallelly to each other, and there are differences in a distance between both plates that make it possible to deposit a film in a wide range of current densities on the test piece. By changing test conditions, the relationship between current density and plating film can be easily observed, results to comprehend status of plating solution such as lack of brightener. According to purpose of use, there are various types of hull cell tanks, anode plates cathode plates, etc.
This is a 2D agitation device for electroless plating of wafers. It allows input and recording of agitation amplitude and speed. For European markets, we accept orders for custom research-use models (For research use only; not CE marked. Do not use for manufacturing purposes.)
This is a photography box for capturing HullCell test results on your smartphone. Its structure is designed to prevent camera glare.
We focus on small desktop-sized barrels, and line up various items which meet customer's requirements such as special processing which reduces samples get caught to drum's inner side, designated drums to plate on ultra-fine parts, and so on.
