Add Functionality and Aesthetics to Film and Resin Surfaces through Embossing.
We emboss over 100 surface patterns onto a wide range of films, including PET, PP, PEN, PI, PC, fluoropolymer, and various pre-treated films.
The process uses only heat and pressure, eliminating concerns about residue.
Embossed surface structures provide a wide range of functions, including release, anti-adhesion, space formation, improved slip, matte finish, light diffusion, and surface roughening.
Embossed film can also be used as a “mold” to transfer surface textures onto resins, adding design, tactile feel, and functional properties to the resin surface.
We flexibly support projects from samples and small-lot trials through mass production.
We provide hard embossing for a wide range of films, including PET, PP, PEN, PI, PC, PBT, PEEK, and fluoropolymer films.
We also have experience with heat-resistant and rigid films, as well as pre-treated films with hard coats, matte coats, release coats, printing, or vapor deposition.
More than 100 emboss patterns are available, with selectable texture, depth, and roughness.
From fine to deep textures, we add functionality, aesthetics, and tactile qualities to film surfaces. Processing conditions are adjusted to suit each material, from small-lot trials to mass production.
By controlling contact area, light behavior, and surface roughness through embossed textures, we provide a wide range of surface functions, including release, slip, anti-blocking, air release, matte finish, light diffusion, anti-glare, and surface roughening.
The embossing process itself is a physical method that does not require the addition of coating agents or additives, making it suitable for applications where coating residue or additive bleed-out is a concern. Applications include release separators, optical and electronic materials, building materials, and resin molding. We propose suitable surface textures based on the required properties.
Use embossed film as a “mold” to transfer its surface texture onto resins, adhesives and other materials. Depending on the application, the film can be used as the transfer mold from evaluation through mass production, without the need for expensive tooling.
Compatible with thermosetting, UV-curable and adhesive resins. Choose from approximately 100 existing surface patterns.
The technology can add not only decorative and tactile effects such as stone, wood-grain and matte finishes, but also functional properties including release, slip, space formation, anti-adhesion and surface roughening.
