Introducing 3 of the Latest Technologies from Shinshu University.
●A novel surfactant-free cleaning technology that removes oily soils
using carbon dioxide bubbles in carbonated water, in response to
increased demand for cleaning product surfactants and the threat
of supply constraints of palm oil.
●A composite nonwoven featuring two components with different
fiber diameters using a one-step process, creating a material with
high potential for industrial applications.
●An ultrathin ion rectifier inspired by the unidirectional ion transport
functions of membrane proteins, achieving world-class ion
rectification performance.
This is a nonwoven in which extra-thick fibers are blended into a melt-blown nonwovenmade of fine fibers. By acting as a structural framework, these thick fibers improve dimensional stability and air permeability.
This technology is a novel cleaning method that removes oily soils using carbonated water containing carbon dioxide (CO₂) bubbles, without the use of surfactants. By utilizing the physical effects associated with the formation and disappearance of CO₂ bubbles, it enables the removal of oily soils through a mechanism distinct from conventional surfactant-based cleaning. This technology is expected to contribute to reducing environmental impact and resource consumption as a next-generation cleaning technology.
