The world’s first mass‑produced Black TiO₂ of commercial grade
Black TiO₂ is an inorganic black material that has been studied for over 40 years, characterized by an unstable TiO₂ structure with oxygen vacancies. We have enabled mass production at the ton scale in the Incheon region of Korea. The applications of RP are largely divided into two categories. First, as a black material, it is used in displays, semiconductor packaging, and black pigments, serving as a replacement for conventional carbon black. Second, as a visible‑light photocatalyst, it absorbs the entire spectrum from visible light to near‑infrared, enabling true visible‑light catalytic reactions such as hydrogen production and environmental purification.
RP is a thermally and chemically stable black inorganic material with particle sizes from 5 nm to 1 µm. Its inactive form serves as a black pigment, while its active form functions as a true visible‑light photocatalyst for hydrogen production and environmental purification.
