When It Comes to Customized Microparticles, Think Sekisui Kasei.
Techpolymer™ is a polymer microparticle developed through Sekisui Kasei’s proprietary polymerization technology.
With excellent optical properties and flexible control of particle size, composition, and structure, Techpolymer delivers customized solutions for diverse applications.
At this exhibition, we will showcase food-contact applications for compounds and coatings, inkjet applications such as white opacity enhancement and black matte finishes, and recent advances in nanoparticle and hollow particle technologies.
Techpolymer is widely used in optical tuning applications for anti-glare, light-diffusion, and reflective films. We are also focusing on expanding the use of our newly developed hollow nanoparticles for low-reflection applications.
In lighting applications, Techpolymer is employed as an additive for automotive lighting components, decorative molded plastic products, and other lighting-related materials.
In coating applications, it is used as a matting agent and tactile modifier for paints and inks.

Adding "TECHPOLYMER" in extruded films or in coatings on the surface of films can provide the films with anti-blocking effects by the uneven surface created on the film. Compared to inorganic materials (such as silica), "TECHPOLYMER" has high chemical affinity with the base resins, and can help prevent damage on the surface of the film while reducing loss of the anti-blocking agent. In addition, for applications which require high transparency, "TECHPOLYMER" offers solutions from various refractive index and sizes.

The softness can be adjusted by changing the resin composition. The scratch resistance of the surface is improved by abrasion absorbed effectively from the balance of the softness and recoverability of the particles. Able to propose grades that is suitable for your requirements from the lineup of four soft particle series.
