As the world faces the dual challenges of carbon neutrality and energy security, electric power systems are evolving from infrastructure providers into platforms for social value creation. This keynote introduces the concept of Utility 3.0 and discusses the implementation of the Earth's metabolic system through the integration of energy, information, and heat. By combining renewable energy, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and distributed energy resources, a new societal architecture can emerge in which energy and information circulate seamlessly. Drawing on the perspectives of MESH and Watts & Bits, the presentation explores pathways toward a sustainable, resilient, and prosperity-oriented society and outlines a vision for the next stage of socio-technical evolution.
