session【Abstract】In seismic retrofitting of bridges, post-installed adhesive anchors traditionally use deformed bar anchor bolts. However, because this work target existing structures with densely arranged rebar, concrete drilling is difficult and frequently results in incomplete boreholes.
To resolve this issue, we developed the Sandes Anchor—a compact, lightweight anchor system utilizing high-strength prestressing steel bars (PC bars).
The Sandes Anchor improves structural quality by reducing incomplete boreholes, while significantly streamlining concrete drilling and anchoring operations.
